24/7 Protection at Home and On the Go

The Mobile Link is a portable, all-in-one mobile medical alert system with GPS designed for Bay Area seniors who want protection beyond their front door. Whether you are walking through Golden Gate Park, shopping in downtown Walnut Creek, or visiting family across the Bay Area, help is one button press away. The built-in GPS locator allows our monitoring center to find you quickly, even if you cannot describe your location.

Unlike at-home systems that only work within range of a base station, this mobile medical alert system with GPS travels with you everywhere in the United States. It is small enough to wear around your neck or carry in a pocket or pouch. A local Vital Link technician will deliver it to your home, set it up, and walk you through every feature in person.

How the Mobile Link Works

  1. Press the help button on the device from anywhere in the United States.
  2. Speak directly with a trained emergency operator through the device’s built-in two-way speaker.
  3. Help is dispatched to your GPS location based on your personalized Emergency Care Plan, including calls to family, neighbors, or emergency services.

If you cannot respond after pressing the button, our operators use GPS to locate you and follow your care plan automatically.

At Home and On the Go: One Device Does Both

Most mobile medical alert systems with GPS only protect you outside the home. The Mobile Link works everywhere, including inside your house, at the grocery store, on a walk, or while visiting friends. There is no separate base station to worry about. The device itself is the system, so your protection is always with you.

If you prefer a dedicated at-home system with a longer button range, consider our Home Link (landline) or Cellular Home Link (cellular). Many families pair an at-home system with the Mobile Link for complete coverage.

Why Bay Area Families Choose Vital Link

Vital Link has served the Northern California community since 1981. We are a family-owned company based in Oakland, not a national chain shipping boxes from a warehouse. Even though the Mobile Link works anywhere in the United States, every device is set up in person by a local technician who makes sure you are comfortable before leaving.

We work closely with hospitals, discharge planners, and case managers throughout Alameda, Contra Costa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Marin, Napa, Solano, Sonoma, and Santa Cruz counties. If your loved one is transitioning home after a hospital stay, we coordinate directly with their care team to ensure protection is in place before they walk through the door.

All equipment is covered by a lifetime replacement warranty at no extra cost. We also ship replacement charging cradles for free. If something breaks, we fix it.
