Sensitive Information. When necessary, with your consent or as otherwise permitted by applicable law, we process the following categories of sensitive information: health data and financial data.
Information automatically collected
We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use, or navigate the Services. This information may include your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, and information about how and when you use our Services.

Business Transfers. We may share or transfer your information in connection with any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company.
When we use Google Maps Platform APIs. We may share your information with certain Google Maps Platform APIs. Google Maps uses GPS, Wi-Fi, and cell towers to estimate your location.
Device Location for Emergency Services. You authorize Vital Link Medical Alert Systems to collect your IoT emergency response pendant device location from third parties including wireless carriers and to use it to provide assistance services to you. Vital Link Medical Alert Systems will share your location with individuals you authorize as well as first responders and call centers in order to provide you with assistance, including showing your location in near-real time in a web portal or application. Your consent will be valid for the duration of your relationship with us unless you revoke it. You may revoke your consent by calling 510-338-3466. If you do not consent or you revoke consent, we may be unable to provide you with assistance.
4. DO WE USE COOKIES AND OTHER TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES?
We may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to gather information when you interact with our Services. We also permit third parties and service providers to use online tracking technologies on our Services for analytics and advertising.
Bay Area Vital Link reserves the right to use cookies to identify individuals so they do not have to re-enter a user ID and password. Cookies also help us improve your experience and more prominently display goods and services that might interest you.

10. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES
We do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. California law requires us to let you know how we respond to web browser DNT signals. Because there currently is not an industry or legal standard for recognizing or honoring DNT signals, we do not respond to them at this time.
